The Big Decision Awaits

Dear Mike,

I know that you're making your decision Monday, and I know that the K-State nation will be waiting with great anticipation for you to tell us what you're going to do.

Regardless of what you choose to do, I want you to know that all true KSU fans will be behind you 110%. Watching you play this year was an absolute pleasure, and how you embraced our university and community in the short amount of time that you were 'one of us' means a lot to a group of people who haven't had a lot to cheer for on the basketball court since before you were born.

Mike, you almost single-handedly made us matter again. You gave people something positive to talk about when it comes to Kansas State. You allow all of us to say, "Yeah, he's one of US," even though most of us have never even met you.

You've been nothing but class since the moment you stepped on campus, and I hope that whatever you choose to do, you do what makes you happy. We'll all be rooting for you regardless of the jersey you wear.

Thanks for the season of memories, and we look forward to new ones...wherever they may be.
